“We Cannot Become What We Want By Remaining What We are.”
My Approach
I work intensely with my clients on boosting their sense of self-worth by setting healthy and appropriate boundaries with others. My clients examine their past and present self in order to live the life they want to live. This is called living an authentic life. When we start living authentically, we are our true selves. We create a ripple effect in our own lives, relationships, and communities.
I support clients in reauthoring their life stories, rebuilding core values, and letting go of self-talk which no longer serves them. Together, we break through the cage you no longer want to live in. I use EMDR with clients who have trauma they want to overcome- this is a highly evidence-based psychotherapy that is very effective in neutralizing past pain. My clients determine their own goals for therapy, while I provide the tools and strategies to meet those goals. My therapy office is not built on neutrality. You are hiring me to help you make changes, which requires me to be an active participant in the process where I provide feedback, tools, and support.
